If you thought Steven Spielberg was going to hang up his hat after helming his highly autobiographical The Fabelmans, think again. It seems Spielberg just needed to get his childhood story out of his system before he could move on to more traditional genre pics. Like. a new take on the Steven McQueen action movie Bullitt! We knew Spielberg was planning on making this for a while now, but it looks like things are picking up steam as the filmmaker has gone and found his Frank Bullitt.

So, who is playing Steven Spielberg's Bullitt? Why, it's Bradley Cooper. Now, it's worth noting that this isn't meant to be a remake, but rather a new film featuring the Frank Bullitt character. I know folks will say, "Hey, Bradley Cooper doesn't look anything like Steve McQueen." And that's true! But that's okay. I'm excited about this one.
