Are we entertaining the superhero fatigue era? Are we already there? Less-than-great reviews and box office for recent super-flicks like Black Adam, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and Shazam! Fury of the Gods sure suggests that superhero movies are no longer a sure thing.
James Gunn knows a thing or two about superhero movies. Not only is he responsible for the Guardians of the Galaxy movies and The Suicide Squad, but he’s also now running the show for DC films.
