The Big DC Shake-Up, The Best Sci-Fi Films of 2022
Big things are brewing over at Warner Bros. in regard to their DC titles, now rebranded as the DC Universe. James Gunn and Peter Safran are running the show and last night came a barrage of news about what they're planning.
For one thing: there's a new Superman movie in the works, but Henry Cavill will no longer be playing the Man of Steel. For another, while Ben Affleck's time as Batman may be over, the actor-director is apparently on board to helm a DC film. This news will likely intrigue some and anger others (especially those fond of Zack Snyder's take on the DC world).
The big DC shake-up is just one story you'll find in the latest /Film newsletter, along with a list ranking the best sci-fi films of 2022, a tribute to the mess that was Morbius, news about a Death Stranding movie, and much more.
Have You Heard the News?
Okay, get ready, this is going to be a DC-heavy section. First up: a new Superman movie is on the way from writer James Gunn, and Henry Cavill will not be playing Superman.
