The Oscars Walk Back a Bad Decision
I don't put much stock in the Oscars or awards season in general because I don't like to turn movies into sporting events. However, it's my job to keep up with this stuff, and I'm well aware that the Academy goofed in previous years when they decided to not air the awards presentations for a few categories. Why? So they could make room for more unfunny skits, of course!
Thankfully, it looks like the Academy has walked this back, and the upcoming awards ceremony will feature all the categories. Good! And this is just one of the stories that await you in the /Film newsletter below!
