The Simpsons has been on for 34 seasons, which is absolutely bonkers. And if you thought it would end anytime soon, well, guess again — Disney has gone ahead and renewed it through 2025. And when 2025 rolls around they’ll probably renew it again. Somehow, The Simpsons will outlive us all. I grew up loving the show, and while I gave up following the later, modern seasons, those early seasons will always hold a place in my heart.

Yeah, I've often wondered which is likely to end first, The Simpsons or South Park. The Simpsons has almost a decade on South Park yet they're both staples of television these days. For some reason they just keep going, though I think South Park keeps itself relevant in a way The Simpsons doesn't.
