The Strike Continues, A Freaky Friday Sequel, Oppenheimer, Mission: Impossible 7, Stranger Things
Happy Friday, folks. As I mentioned last week, Friday is the new official day of the /Film newsletter, allowing me to round up some of the best slash film dot com content the week had to offer.
As we head into the weekend, the WGA strike is still ongoing, and it’s starting to have a ripple effect. Various big shows are shutting down for now, because writers are essential and deserve to be fairly compensated, gosh darn it!
The newsletter this week isn’t all strike news, though. We also have news from the week about a Freaky Friday sequel (yes, really), Disney (you know who they are), Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer (get ready for more ticking clocks!), reviews of new films from Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck (they’re in love and they’re competing for weekend viewers!), and much more. So let’s get cracking. And have a great weekend.
